Ramboll has agreed a new 10-year lease at 1 Broad Gate, Leeds, expanding its footprint by 1,400 sq ft to 5,277 sq ft.
Broad Gate, formerly Lewis’s department store, was re-developed in 2009 to provide a 300,000 sq ft landmark mixed-use development with notable tenants including Yorkshire Building Society, KPMG and Colliers International.
Ramboll is a global design, engineering and management consultancy firm. In 2014 Ramboll acquired environmental and health consultancy Environ, which has been based at Northwood Regional UK, 1 Broad Gate office development since 2012. The company has expanded its premises at Broad Gate in order to accommodate all employees in Leeds and allow for future growth.
Colliers International advised Ramboll on the lease. Roddy Morrison, director in Colliers' national offices team, in Leeds, said:
